You shouldn't need planning permission as the hut is not a permanent structure and mobile. However, it is advisable to check with your local planning authority to be on the safe side.

Do you need planning permission?
What ground preparation has to be done?
We recommend you stand your hut on paving slab or railway sleepers to prevent the wheels from sinking into the ground.
Can our standard huts be towed on the road?
No, our standard huts are not designed to be towed on the road. However we can custom build a towable hut to your specifications.
What size huts do you build?
Standard hut 12’ x 6”x 3” internal dimensions Medium hut 14’ x 6”x 3” internal dimensions Large hut 16’ x 6”x 3” internal dimensions Other sizes are available as custom build huts
Are your huts insulated?
Yes, they are insulated with sheep’s wool, which helps to keep them warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Are they fitted with lights?
Yes, all huts come with a light system as standard; adjustable, dimmable LED lighting located in the ceiling, plus an outdoor light for convenience.
Can you plug in a computer,phone,iPad,kettle,etc?
Yes, all our huts come with 2 x 13A 2 gang switched sockets with 2 USB ports as standard. Ideal for charging Mobile phones, MP3s and cameras etc.
Do you charge for delivery?
Yes depending on where we are delivering to.
Is heating an option?
Yes, there are various options available to meet individual needs, which range from an electrical heater/s to a wood-burner.
What type of flooring do you offer?
Our standard floor is solid pine but there are other options such as solid oak or vinyl depending on your requirements and will incur additional charges.
What are our huts clad with?
Our standard hut are clad with wriggly tin or horizontal 7” tanalised featheredge timber cladding. Oak cladding is available at an extra cost.
Is there VAT to pay?
Yes we are a VAT registered company.
